SRtP Requirements Cross Check
📘 The SRtP requirements for the FUTURA ferry, currently under construction at CEMRE SHIPYARD for Scandlines, have been reviewed! 🚢
The SRtP requirements, which we compiled under 18 headings and 4 MVZs, were reviewed system-by-system, and the findings were shared with the shipyard. During these reviews, the SRtP assessment reports, SRtP cable routings and system P&ID diagrams prepared by LMG Marin AS, electrical drawings and works prepared by the electrical company, and system/equipment manuals and engineering studies provided by suppliers were thoroughly examined.
Our main goal in this process is to identify deficiencies and errors in the system before any work onboard is carried out.
SRtP (Safe Return to Port) encompasses a set of regulations and requirements to ensure that a ship can safely return to port in the event of a casualty. In this process, the ship's critical systems (e.g., power distribution, fire control, bilge systems) are ensured to remain operational.
In this process, where coordination is crucial, we would like to extend our gratitude to CEMRE SHIPYARD for its visionary approach. As CT Solutions, we are proud to have completed this process to the highest standards.
